Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Cider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cider comes to the cage accompanied by Trailerhood. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Cider !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cider with a nice cross.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Cider , looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Cider against the cage but Cider circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cider tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Cider 's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gracie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cider utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Gracie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Gracie makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cider is trying to keep Gracie in close.
Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cider knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cider controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.

Cider wants to sweep but no luck.

Justin Cider has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Gracie misses with a few strikes there.
Justin Cider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cider scores with a shot to the body.
Cider shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gracie eats them both and turns towards Cider to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cider landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Cider lands a good knee to the midsection. Gracie won't want to take too many of those.
Gracie goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cider prevents it.

Cider putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Gracie in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Antonio Gracie has been cut.

Gracie has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cider uses from the top position.

Cider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nice uppercut lands for Cider . That snapped Gracie's head back.

Gracie takes a knee to the side of the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cider .
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gracie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

A right handed body shot lands from Cider .
Cider jerks Gracie's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Gracie drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Cider goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Cider because Gracie was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Justin Cider !
A very excited looking Justin Cider made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
