Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henrik Haga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tyler Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haga rushes Griffin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Haga lands a body shot in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Griffin.
Griffin is looking for a takedown.
Haga leaning against his opponent.
Griffin working aggressively here.

Haga manages to break the clinch.
Haga fails in his attempt to clinch.

Haga clinches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Haga.
Griffin is trying to break the clinch but Haga has him pressed against the cage.
Griffin wants to take the fight to the mat but Haga manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Haga breaks from the clinch.
Haga shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Haga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Griffin throws a right and a left that both miss.

Haga closes the distance and pushes Griffin back into the cage.
Griffin looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Griffin has a couple of punches blocked by Haga.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Haga breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Griffin darts in and clinches Haga up against the cage.
Haga working Griffin over with knees to the body.
Griffin scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Haga is struggling to control the position.
Haga blocks an uppercut.
Haga is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Haga breaks from the clinch.

Haga clinches up against the cage.
Griffin working aggressively here.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Griffin.

Haga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Haga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Haga utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Haga is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haga engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Griffin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Griffin looking for subs off his back but Haga has passed one foot through into half guard.
Haga throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Griffin tries to roll over but Haga keeps him under control.
Haga content to control rather than advance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Griffin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Haga perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Haga stops Griffin from getting back to his feet.
Haga trying to mount his opponent but Griffin defends it.

Henrik Haga has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Griffin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Henrik Haga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Griffin.
Griffin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Henrik Haga has been cut.

Haga gets a clinch.
Griffin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Griffin throws a punch but it's blocked by Haga.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Haga lands an elbow just above Griffin 's eye.
Haga scores with a knee to the head.
Haga is defending well against a takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haga tries to pull guard but Griffin holds him up against the cage and eventually Haga drops back down to his feet.
Griffin working aggressively here.
Haga will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Griffin up against the cage.

Haga breaks the clinch.
Haga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Griffin's waist but Griffin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haga off to one side.
Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Griffin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Haga back to the cage. Griffin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Haga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Griffin.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Haga.
Haga dives in and grabs Griffin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes down on Haga's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Haga moves into range and clinches up with Griffin.

Haga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Haga doesn't manage to clinch there - Griffin circles away.
Haga showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Griffin.
Haga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Griffin sprawls well. Griffin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Haga gets slowly back to his feet.
Haga pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Griffin throws a right hand that Haga ducks under and follows up with a left that Haga also avoids with ease.
Haga fails with a takedown attempt.

Griffin lands a left and a right that send Haga crashing to the mat, dazed. Griffin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Haga is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Griffin lands with a right and another and another! Haga is in big trouble! Griffin lands again and this time it's lights out for Haga! A quality knockout there for Griffin.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tyler Griffin!
