The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner is trying hard to land a takedown here. West sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Banner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Check out the look on Banner's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
West tries to buck Banner off but Banner is having none of it.

West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Banner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
West takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Banner lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt West! Banner senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put West out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
