Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor-Remember The Name. Nick Diaz has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bobby TupperII!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz loads up on a big right hand but TupperII slips the punch.
TupperII tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Diaz defends well and TupperII ends up having to push Diaz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
TupperII tries to score a body lock takedown but Diaz shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
TupperII lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Diaz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics TupperII uses from the top position.

TupperII wants to stand but Diaz is controlling his posture from full guard.
Diaz is trying to keep TupperII in close.
TupperII postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

TupperII has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Diaz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but TupperII is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but TupperII keeps working.
TupperII is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Diaz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Diaz is working TupperII over with some ground and pound from side control.
TupperII tries to buck Diaz off but Diaz is having none of it.
The strikes coming from Diaz are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

TupperII can't do much from the bottom here.
Diaz cracks TupperII with a big right hand but TupperII just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
TupperII tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diaz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
TupperII throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Diaz tries for a kimura but TupperII is defending well.
TupperII is trying to improve his position.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

TupperII wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Diaz has ideas of his own. He's got hold of TupperII's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! TupperII is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Diaz!
