Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Doug Durham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Evils Seed!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seed changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Durham looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

It looks like Seed might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Seed's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Durham tries to sprawl but Seed drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Seed uses his free foot to push down on Durham's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Durham.
Seed unloads with some shots from mount but Durham bucks and avoids them well.
Seed tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Durham is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Seed is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Durham has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Durham!
Seed is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Durham shoots in for a takedown but Seed shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Durham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Seed shoots in and gets a takedown into Durham's guard.

Durham can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Seed controls the pace.

Seed is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Durham can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Evils Seed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Seed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Durham looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Durham looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Durham!

Durham thows a huge punch but Seed dodges it nicely.

Seed kicks Durham off and gets back to his feet.

Seed closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Durham quickly recovers to half guard.
Seed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Durham with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Seed moves into full mount! Durham won't be happy about that!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Seed working for a submission but Durham is keeping him at bay.
Seed has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Durham really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Evils Seed has got the better of the ground game so far.
Seed sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Seed has control of Durham's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Durham regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Durham holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Seed tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

And that's the end of the fight!
Evils Seed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Seed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
