Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hone Huia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arana Kahui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahui has chosen Mustasch - Dogwash as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hone Huia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arana Kahui!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Huia shoots in looking for a takedown but Kahui manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Huia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Huia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hone Huia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kahui scores with a jab.
Huia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kahui counters with a thumping low kick.
Kahui drops Huia with a beautiful combination! Huia stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kahui is looking for the KO!
Huia is rocked!
It looks like Hone Huia has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kahui fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Huia, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Huia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kahui creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Huia with a big uppercut! Huia tries to clinch up but Kahui pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Huia to the mat! Huia covers up and Kahui unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Arana Kahui!
After winning the bout, Arana Kahui thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
