Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dario Joyce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Daves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dario Joyce is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joyce pinned against the cage. Joyce gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Joyce stuffs the takedown attempt from Daves. Daves gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee is keeping an eye on Joyce - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Daves has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Joyce uses from the top position.

Joyce is trying to trip Daves. He has hold of a leg but Daves is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Joyce persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Joyce wants to stand but Daves has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Daves wants to sweep here but Joyce controlling him for the moment.
Daves tries to strike from the bottom.
Daves seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Both fighters circling a little - Daves finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
