The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sampaio has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sampaio throws the kick towards the body but Campbell avoids it.
Sampaio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Campbell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Campbell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Campbell feints and then cracks Sampaio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sampaio down.
Sampaio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Campbell defends it nicely.
Sampaio shoots in for a takedown but Campbell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
