Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jt Colossus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson's entrance music is Punch-Out!!! - Theme Song. A fine choice. Mac Tyson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jt Colossus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson takes a swing at Colossus's ribcage but misses.
Colossus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Colossus lands a nice hook to Tyson's body. Tyson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Colossus's corner calls for a 1-2. Colossus obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Tyson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Colossus is looking to regain half guard here but Tyson keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Colossus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyson.
Tyson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Colossus felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Colossus is looking to improve his position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tyson wants to take a breather but Colossus is having none of it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The fighters circling - Tyson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Colossus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tyson's head backwards.
Colossus might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
