The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Longworth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Robertson was covering up waiting for the punch and Longworth finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Robertson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Longworth's corner is telling him to maintain position.
It looks like Longworth might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Longworth has control of Robertson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Robertson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
