Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arnost Paskalev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paskalev kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger. Crane has chosen Way of The Ninja as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichabod Crane!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane throws a body shot but no joy.
Crane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Some bone on bone action there as Paskalev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Crane gets caught napping as Paskalev dives in and scores a takedown. Crane manages to retain guard.
Crane is trying to keep Paskalev in close.
Paskalev pushes down on Crane's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Paskalev tries to pass the half guard into mount. Crane knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Crane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paskalev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Paskalev is thwarting Crane's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crane is not content to let Paskalev control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Paskalev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Paskalev maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Crane could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Paskalev has cracked it and Crane is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Paskalev!

A relieved looking Arnost Paskalev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
