Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricky White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nils Holgersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White's entrance music is Chelsea Dagger. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ricky White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Holgersson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White works Holgersson's body with a nice hook.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Holgersson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
White throws out a leg kick but Holgersson moves out of range and White only half commits.
A left and a right from White both land. Nice combination.
Holgersson checks a leg kick.
White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Holgersson on the side of the head.
Ricky White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from White misses.
White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Holgersson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holgersson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before White can pounce on him.
Holgersson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from White.
White stuffs the takedown.
Holgersson avoids the head kick by White.
Holgersson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
White plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Holgersson is rocked!
It looks like Nils Holgersson has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holgersson swings for the body but White moves out of range.
Holgersson is still on wobbly legs! Can White finish him?
Holgersson fails with the takedown.
Holgersson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Holgersson lands with a nice combination. White backs away looking to recover.
White throws an overhand right that drops Holgersson like a sack of potatoes! White dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky White!
