Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sol Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Lopso!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopso moves in looking to clinch but Booker pushes him off.
Booker swats away the attempt to clinch by Lopso.
Booker rushes Lopso and presses him up against the cage.
Lopso using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Booker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Booker avoiding damage as Lopso throws knees to the body.
Booker takes a knee right on the jaw!
Booker tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Booker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lopso moves in looking to clinch but Booker pushes him off.
Booker has managed to clinch.
Booker is looking for a takedown.
Lopso looking to throw knees to the head but Booker is blocking nicely.
Booker swings wildly with an uppercut but Lopso uses good head movement to avoid it.
Booker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Lopso misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Booker.
Booker gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lopso regains guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Booker sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Booker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Booker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Booker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Booker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Booker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sol Booker.
Lopso explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Lopso wants to clinch up but Booker keeps it at a distance.
Lopso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Booker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Booker has managed to clinch.
Booker scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Booker is looking for a takedown.
Booker pulls guard effortlessly.
Booker strikes from his own guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopso wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Booker's closed guard. He's half up but Booker has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Booker pivots and extends the arm, Lopso falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Booker! Well done that man!
