Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Shumate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Shumate will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Shumate!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly shoots in for a takedown but Shumate shows good takedown defense.
Shumate keeps the fight on the outside.
Shumate stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shumate wants it to stay on the feet.
Shumate fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kelly, pushing him back against the cage.
Shumate makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Shumate misses with a body punch.
Shumate misses with a punch to the body.
Shumate looking to slow down the pace here.
A short body shot lands from Shumate as the two fighters clinch.
Shumate tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kelly avoids it.
Kelly tries a knee to the head but Shumate blocks it.
Kelly prevents Shumate from breaking the clinch.
Shumate scores with a shoulder strike.
Kelly jumps guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shumate looking to sit in guard and control but Kelly gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kelly prevents Shumate from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly trying to control but Shumate is working from the bottom.
Kelly is really struggling to control Shumate but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Kelly trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kelly with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kelly controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Charlie Kelly wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Shumate misses with a two punch combination.
Kelly drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shumate wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kelly with a nice head shot there.
Kelly slips nicely into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kelly seems to be working for a kimura but Shumate defends the submission attempt.
Kelly takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kelly's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kelly seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shumate is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Charlie Kelly decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
