And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabogo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mabogo throws a lazy head kick
letting Boycheck counter with a right hand.
Mabogo misses with the body kick

and Boycheck moves into the clinch.

Boycheck pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mabogo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mabogo tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Mabogo.
Boycheck thuds his shin into the meat of Mabogo's side.
A head kick by Mabogo misses
and Boycheck counters with a left and a right that stings Mabogo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mabogo throws a head kick but Boycheck moves out of range.

Boycheck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Boycheck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mabogo pushes Boycheck away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boycheck gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boycheck is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Mabogo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mabogo tries to escape back to his feet but Boycheck has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Mabogo's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Mabogo is tapping! Boycheck saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!

Mitka Boycheck tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
