Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cung Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neji Hyuga!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses the jab.
Hyuga takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lee throws a leg kick but Hyuga moved away.
Lee throws a shot from downtown. Hyuga moves away and avoids it.
Hyuga moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hyuga moves away from the strike by Lee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee throws a front kick aimed at Hyuga's knee but Hyuga avoids it well.
Lee misses with a body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hyuga is out of range.
Hyuga blocks a head kick by Lee.
We've been informed that Hyuga has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Lee keeps Hyuga at a distance using the push kick.
Hyuga drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Hyuga's shoulder, as Hyuga tries to avoid the shot.
Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hyuga counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
Lee throws a lazy right hand but Hyuga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lee thuds his right hand into Hyuga's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hyuga takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hyuga will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


Hyuga is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee misses the jab.
Hyuga is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Hyuga moves away from the strike by Lee.
Hyuga ducks under a wild hook from Lee.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Hyuga moved out of range nicely.
Lee lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Hyuga crumples to the floor! Lee milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Cung Lee!
Cung Lee tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
