The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aye thumps Lucas Jr with a low kick.
Lucas Jr checks the leg kick nicely there.
Lucas Jr takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Aye fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lucas Jr thows a leg kick but Aye checks it

and Aye counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Aye trying to control from half guard but Lucas Jr is working away.

Aye is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Aye is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lucas Jr sees it coming and defends easily.
Lucas Jr trying to control but Aye postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lucas Jr is refusing to be controlled, as Aye sits in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lucas Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Aye stalling.

Aye looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Aye is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lucas Jr is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
