The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Staunton is nestled in close to Dong, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Staunton wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it.
Staunton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Staunton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Staunton's back!
Dong doesn't have the hooks in and Staunton manages to turn into his guard.
