Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Cardamom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerry Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Cardamom could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gerry Khan's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardamom's jab looks to have found its range, popping Khan under the eye.
Khan lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Khan misses with a low kick.
Cardamom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cardamom walks forward, straight into a front kick from Khan.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cardamom has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cardamom and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cardamom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cardamom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cardamom working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Khan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Khan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Cardamom will probably get the nod.

Max Cardamom's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gerry Khan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Max Cardamom had this to say: 'Suppose it be time for a pint then.'.
