The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takedownerson tries to close the distance and clinch but Anderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Takedownerson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anderson to the mat! Anderson manages to get full guard.
Anderson wants to stand up but Takedownerson is controlling him.

Anderson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Takedownerson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Takedownerson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Anderson on his heels. He'll look to pass Anderson's guard now, I'm sure.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Takedownerson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Takedownerson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Takedownerson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Takedownerson persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.

No joy there for Anderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
