Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kahwaah Jeeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirigaya Kazuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kahwaah Jeeri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kirigaya Kazuto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeeri fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jeeri doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kazuto counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jeeri!

Jeeri on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jeeri tries to get out of the position.
Jeeri tries to lock up and control but Kazuto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jeeri is squirming around, avoiding Kazuto's attempts to control the action.
Jeeri gets back to half guard.
Jeeri trying to get back to full guard but Kazuto takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Jeeri wants to control but Kazuto is having none of it.

Kazuto is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

Kazuto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jeeri is looking to escape.
Kazuto can't control as he wanted to and Jeeri manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Jeeri is trying to stand up here but Kazuto is controlling him well.
Kazuto looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jeeri is not content to let Kazuto control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kirigaya Kazuto was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Jeeri closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jeeri tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kazuto knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kazuto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jeeri controls the pace.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jeeri throws a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kirigaya Kazuto will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Jeeri.
Kazuto throws a combination. Jeeri tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jeeri tries for a takedown but Kazuto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jeeri circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kazuto fails to land the takedown.
Jeeri misses with a takedown attempt
and Kazuto counters with a series of strikes. Jeeri will be more careful next time no doubt.

Horrible takedown attempt by Jeeri or perhaps it was just good defense by Kazuto, which made it look bad.

Kazuto has managed to clinch.
Jeeri slowing the pace effectively.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kazuto has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jeeri clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jeeri is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

You can see the frustration on Jeeri's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Kazuto has got his arm under Jeeri's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Jeeri has spun round into Kazuto's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Jeeri wants to control but Kazuto is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Kazuto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jeeri shoots in but no luck this time.

and Kazuto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Jeeri is not content to let Kazuto control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kazuto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jeeri has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jeeri tries to get to full guard but Kazuto has control of the leg.
Jeeri is looking to control Kazuto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jeeri avoid being mounted?
Jeeri is trying to escape back to his feet but Kazuto uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Kazuto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jeeri is looking to regain half guard here but Kazuto keeps moving and retains side control.

Kazuto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kazuto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kazuto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jeeri keeps working.
Jeeri manages to get back to half guard.
Kazuto stalling.
Kazuto is looking to take a break and control but Jeeri is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jeeri holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kirigaya Kazuto hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kazuto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kazuto doesn't manage to clinch there - Jeeri circles away.

Kirigaya Kazuto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kazuto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
