PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darin Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wally Portman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Portman won't allow Reed to get back to his feet.

Portman is trying to trip Reed. He has hold of a leg but Reed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Portman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
