Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Shouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipad Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joshua Shouse has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple shoots in but no luck this time.
Shouse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Apple but Apple pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Shouse closes the distance and pushes Apple back into the cage.
Shouse is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Apple gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Shouse jumps into guard, dragging Apple to the mat.
Shouse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Apple wants to pass the guard but Shouse is keeping the position.

Apple would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Shouse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Apple can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Apple makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Shouse controls Apple momentarily but Apple frees himself.

The referee asks Apple politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Apple prefers to stall for the moment though.

Apple tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shouse manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Apple connects with a body shot that sends Shouse 's belly button to the back.

Apple pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Shouse back to the cage. Apple follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ipad Apple seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Shouse shoots in looking for a takedown. Apple tries to sprawl out of it but Shouse keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Apple manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Apple fails in his attempt to clinch.
Apple changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shouse tries to avoid it but Apple manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shouse to the ground. Shouse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A combination from Shouse does no damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Apple.

The referee is keeping an eye on Shouse - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Shouse for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Apple lands a big head kick that sends Shouse tumbling to the mat! Apple takes a step backwards and waves Shouse back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ipad Apple showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Shouse on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Apple. Apple obviously looking to wear him down.

Horrible takedown attempt by Apple or perhaps it was just good defense by Shouse , which made it look bad.

Ipad Apple is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
