The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crumbie shoots for a takedown but Long saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Long scores with a one two! Crumbie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Crumbie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Long.
Crumbie throws out a loose jab but Long uses good head movement to avoid it.
Long throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Crumbie counters with a left and a right that stings Long.
Long waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crumbie.
Long dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Long throws a good cross that connects.
Long ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crumbie moves away.
Long missing with a left hand there. Crumbie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Crumbie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Long manages to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crumbie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Long will feel that in the morning.
Long takes a swing at Crumbie's ribcage but misses.
Long throws a series of punches but Crumbie moves out of range.
Crumbie wants to clinch up but Long keeps it at a distance.
Long throws a right and a left that both miss.

Crumbie misses with a double jab.
Long circles away from the clinch attempt
and Long counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Long throws a sloppy body shot
and Crumbie counters with a nice uppercut.
Crumbie tries a head kick but it misses.
Long looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Long lands with an uppercut that bounces Crumbie off the cage and back into range.
Crumbie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Long.
Crumbie tries to clinch up but Long circles away and keeps his distance.
Crumbie falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Long to counter with a crisp jab.

Danga de danga de dang - Crumbie scores with a four punch combination!
Crumbie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Long tries to avoid it but Crumbie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Long to the ground. Long escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Long as Crumbie shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karl Crumbie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crumbie is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crumbie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Long sizes up Crumbie with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Crumbie. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Long jabs Crumbie right on the nose. Crumbie blinks but takes it well.
Crumbie is rocked!
Crumbie gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Long gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Crumbie is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
