Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avitan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thompson was well out of range. Poor timing from Avitan.
Avitan throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Hunter Thompson has been cut.
Avitan tries to clinch up but Thompson circles away and keeps his distance.
Avitan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thompson throws a lazy body kick
and Avitan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Thompson is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Thompson lands with an uppercut that bounces Avitan off the cage and back into range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Avitan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thompson missing with a left hand there. Avitan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Thompson looks to throw a body kick
and Avitan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thompson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Avitan! Thompson is out on his feet! Avitan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Thompson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Thompson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
