Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Mubarak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mubarak comes to the cage accompanied by Steel Panther - Gloryhole. Schultz has chosen As The Crow Flies - Newsted as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jacques Mubarak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mubarak takes a swing at Schultz's ribcage but misses.

Mubarak feints and as Schultz raises his hands in defense, Mubarak changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mubarak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schultz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Schultz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Schultz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mubarak haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Schultz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mubarak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mubarak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mubarak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schultz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Jacques Mubarak will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mubarak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
