Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sol Booker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerimiah Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sol Booker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sol Booker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerimiah Cane!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane closes the distance but Booker moves to the side

and Booker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Booker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Booker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cane works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Booker is working Cane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Booker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Booker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cane!
Cane trying to control the position but Booker is working away.
Booker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Booker is looking to regain half guard here but Cane keeps moving and retains side control.

Cane wants to control but Booker is keeping him busy.
Cane tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Booker is trying to control Cane's posture but Cane avoids it.
Booker tries to improve position but can't.
Booker is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cane trying to control the action but Booker is working from the bottom.
Booker striking from the bottom but nothing landed.

Cane advances to full mount.
Cane trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Cane lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Booker hang on?
Cane can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Booker is looking to escape.
Cane wants to control but instead Booker manages to regain half guard.
Booker is refusing to be controlled, as Cane sits in half guard.

Cane prevents Booker from improving his position.
Cane controlling the action here.
Booker trying to hold on to Cane's head to control him but Cane postures up.
Cane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Booker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerimiah Cane was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cane tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Booker counters with a solid body kick.
Cane is looking to clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cane.
Booker is breathing heavily.

Cane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Booker is trying to defend but Cane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Booker is looking to get to half guard.
Cane avoids the attempt from Booker to control.

Cane doesn't manage to clinch there - Booker circles away.
Booker wants to clinch up but Cane keeps it at a distance.
Cane moves in looking to clinch but Booker pushes him off.

Cane closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Booker quickly recovers to half guard.

Booker looking for submissions off his back.
Cane tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Booker.
Cane is trying to control the action in half guard but Booker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cane is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
It looks like Cane is going to stand back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jerimiah Cane.

Booker moves into the clinch.
Booker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cane pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Booker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cane is defending well.
Booker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cane gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sol Booker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Booker tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Booker misses with a hook from the clinch.

Cane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cane drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Cane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Booker's guard.
Cane blocks the strikes from Booker.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Booker wants to improve his position but Cane is controlling well.
Booker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cane wants to control but Booker is keeping him busy.

Cane with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Cane wants to take a breather but Booker is having none of it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cane moves into full mount! Booker won't be happy about that!
Booker in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


It looks like Sol Booker has been cut.

Booker defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cane.
Cane working the ground and pound effectively.

Cane tries to control but Booker wriggling away.
Booker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Booker is squirming around, avoiding Cane's attempts to control the action.

Cane working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cane trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerimiah Cane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Sol Booker's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Booker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Booker.
Booker tries to buck Cane off but Cane is having none of it.
Cane wants to stand but Booker is controlling his arm.
Booker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cane's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Booker flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Booker is trying to maintain the position but Cane is very close to passing his half guard.
Booker is staying active underneath Cane, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Booker connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Booker keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Booker is refusing to be controlled, as Cane sits in half guard.
Cane is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Booker manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Booker wants to sweep here but Cane controlling him for the moment.

Booker is looking for a triangle here but Cane uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Booker is not content to let Cane control the position.

Booker throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Cane wants to lay and pray for a moment but Booker keeps working.
Booker throws a few strikes from the bottom but Cane takes advantage and mounts!
Booker throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Booker tries to lock up and control but Cane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sol Booker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jerimiah Cane is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Cane moves to back control.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jerimiah Cane.
I've got Cane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
