Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igual Kikongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Sabando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kikongo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kikongo tries to land a front kick but Sabando steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sabando lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kikongo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kikongo lands a head kick. Sabando smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Carlos Sabando has been cut.
Kikongo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sabando avoids the head kick by Kikongo.
Kikongo misses with a jab to the body
and Sabando counters with a nice body kick.
Kikongo misses with a looping right.

Sabando scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sabando decides to stand and escape the position.
Igual Kikongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kikongo lands the left hand.

Kikongo lands a slapping body shot.
Sabando tries to clinch up.
Kikongo throws a body kick that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kikongo. Sabando shrugs it off though.
Both fighters circling a little - Kikongo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sabando looks winded!
Kikongo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sabando tries to close the distance and clinch but Kikongo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sabando takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kikongo throws a head kick but Sabando moves out of range.
Kikongo scores with a leg kick.
Kikongo throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kikongo scores with a spinning back kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kikongo seems to be stalking Sabando here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Sabando drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
