PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Shank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jan Nowak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Shank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shank tries to close the distance and clinch but Nowak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nowak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shank swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nowak lands with a kick to the temple. Shank shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Nowak clinches up with Shank and pushes him back against the cage.

Shank wants to break free but Nowak has control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
