The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Peace.
Green displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peace throws out the jab.
Nice takedown defense from Peace. No joy for Green on that attempt.
Peace has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Peace connects with a right hand. Green shakes it off.

It looks like Decon Green has been cut.
Green misses with a double jab.
Green ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Peace cracks Green with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Green shoots for a takedown but Peace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Warren Peace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Decon Green.
A punch combination from Peace misses.
Green showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Peace.
Peace lands a head shot.

Peace looks like he's trying to stand up.

Green is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Peace doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Green.
Peace tries to roll over but Green keeps him under control.

Green maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Peace could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Green has cracked it and Peace is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Green!

Decon Green spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
