The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farmery drops Dos Santos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dos Santos looks back up at him and smiles so Farmery waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Cain Dos Santos has been cut.

Farmery gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dos Santos to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Farmery pulls Dos Santos in close to prevent any damage.
Dos Santos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Farmery wants to stand but Dos Santos is controlling the position.
Dos Santos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farmery wants to get back to his feet but Dos Santos is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Farmery can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dos Santos controls the pace.
Farmery looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dos Santos is one step ahead there.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dos Santos shoots in looking for a takedown but Farmery manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dos Santos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Farmery throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dos Santos.
Dos Santos takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Farmery ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Dos Santos's jaw. Dos Santos's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Farmery does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
