Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raphael Adamson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jacob Holm is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Holm is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adamson.

Holm slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Adamson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Adamson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holm defends it easily.

Holm got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adamson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holm has managed to get both his arms back between Adamson's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Holm fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Adamson.
Holm tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adamson was well out of range. Poor timing from Holm.

Holm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Holm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Adamson - the referee stops the clock and Holm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Adamson. Holm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
