Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Sam Makatua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Rome Banana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banana has chosen Watch out for that FIST!!! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Rome Banana!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makatua misses with a straight right.
Makatua moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Makatua keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Banana moves away from the strike by Makatua.
Makatua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Banana.
Crunch! Banana slams his shin into Makatua's torso.
Banana tries to close the distance and clinch up but Makatua swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Makatua on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Sam Makatua has been cut.
Makatua is looking to slow Banana down with leg kicks.
Banana has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Banana misses with a hook. Makatua ducked under it nicely.
Banana checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Banana throws a push kick but Makatua slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Makatua has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Banana finds it's way round the side to connect with Makatua's head.
Banana is looking to land body kicks.
That kick from Makatua tenderised Banana's leg. Banana is trying to keep his angry face on.
Banana throws a lazy right hand but Makatua sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Banana's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Makatua connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Banana scrambles back to his feet.

Makatua throws a body kick that misses.
Makatua throws an overhand right that lands on Banana's shoulder, as Banana tries to avoid the shot.
Makatua lands a really nice looking cross but Banana seems unphased.

Makatua throws a jab when Banana was well out of range.
Makatua wants to land a leg kick but Banana is out of range.
Banana just misses with a punch to the body.
Banana throws a low kick but it's checked well by Makatua.
Makatua moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Makatua is rocked!
Banana scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Makatua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makatua looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makatua throws an overhand right that lands on Banana's shoulder, as Banana tries to avoid the shot.
Makatua throws a lazy uppercut
and Banana counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Makatua off his feet! Makatua crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Makatua isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Banana screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jay Rome Banana!
