Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Croft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jusuf Lakupekka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakupekka darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lakupekka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Croft moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice body punch from Croft.
Croft throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lakupekka tries to bum rush Croft with a series of wild strikes but Croft uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lakupekka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lakupekka dodges the punch combination from Croft.

Croft gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lakupekka is trying to break the clinch but Croft is controlling him.
Croft is working for takedown but Lakupekka is calmly controlling the position for now.
Croft tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lakupekka wants to get back to striking at distance but Croft won't allow it.
Croft is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lakupekka gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Croft has Lakupekka pressed against the cage, preventing Lakupekka from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Croft gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

and Lakupekka counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Croft thinking.
Croft ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lakupekka moves away.

Croft throws a right hand that Lakupekka ducks under and follows up with a left that Lakupekka also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Croft, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lakupekka keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lakupekka works over Croft's head and body with a nice combination.
Lakupekka dances in with a quick combination. Croft is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lakupekka snaps Croft's head back. Croft stumbles backwards against the cage. Lakupekka steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Croft's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Croft just didn't come prepared.
