Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fionn McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sangram Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fionn McCool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McCool is trying to improve his position.
Singh tries to score with some ground and pound. McCool controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
McCool pushes Singh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Singh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Singh tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
McCool is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McCool has escaped the position, nice work there.
Singh landing a few strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McCool is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Singh lands a few punches from side control.
McCool's coaches at The Axis of Evil have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
McCool takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Singh fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Singh is putting a hurting on McCool here, landing some big shots from side control.
Singh postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Singh lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear McCool down.
McCool keeping his opponent close.

Singh looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McCool is avoiding damage well.
McCool is trying to buck Singh off.

Singh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Singh working the ground and pound but McCool is defending the strikes.
McCool on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McCool tries to get out of the position.

McCool is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Singh has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Singh in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Singh lands a nice forearm strike.

Singh looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Singh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McCool taking punishment in the form of punches.

McCool managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Singh.

Singh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Singh is working McCool over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Singh creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McCool sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sangram Singh dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Singh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Singh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Singh drops an elbow to the side of McCool's head.
Singh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Sangram Singh has got the better of the ground game so far.
McCool on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Singh throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh winds up and cracks McCool with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Singh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McCool sees it coming and defends easily.
McCool is trying to stand.

Singh winds up and cracks McCool with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Singh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McCool's head.
Singh throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Singh working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Singh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McCool is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Singh is nestled in close to McCool, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Singh not landing any meaningful shots this time.
McCool keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Singh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McCool's head.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

McCool moves into the clinch.
Singh stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Singh is working for takedown but McCool is calmly controlling the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

McCool's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Singh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McCool lunges at Singh with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Singh's hand.
Jab by McCool.

Singh moves into range and clinches up with McCool.
McCool gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Singh.
Singh can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sangram Singh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


McCool ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice uppercut there from McCool.
McCool throws a shot to the body.

McCool feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Singh sprawling to the canvas! Singh rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McCool finish him?!


Singh is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCool cracks Singh on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Singh falls backwards against the cage. McCool follows up with more strikes that drop Singh to his knees. McCool keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Singh! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fionn McCool!
