Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is System Of A Down - Chop Suey! . Gomes has chosen Roadhouse Blues as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Django Brown had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gomes in his tracks.
Gomes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gomes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been hearing reports that Brown has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
