Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lowell Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tabby Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tabby Cat has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lowell Bond's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tabby Cat!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cat shoots for a double leg takedown but Bond sprawls well. He's pushed Cat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cat decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cat is trying to control the action in half guard but Bond is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bond looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bond wants to control but Cat is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Cat trying to control from half guard but Bond is working away.
Bond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bond is trying to maintain the position but Cat is very close to passing his half guard.

Cat trying to control the action but Bond is working from the bottom.

Tabby Cat has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Cat tries for a takedown but Bond circles away easily
and Bond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Good leg kick by Cat there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bond darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Cat looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cat in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cat not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bond has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cat should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bond has tightened it up now! Cat should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
