Kuhula is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Native Drums from the South Pacific. Tonothan Kuhula acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Irene back to the cage. Kuhula follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Goodnight Irene has been cut.
Irene misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Irene tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kuhula sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Irene somewhat.
Irene shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuhula tries to sprawl out of it but Irene keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kuhula manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
