These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexeyev throws the kick towards the body but Henderson avoids it.

Henderson tries to keep at a distance but Alexeyev has taken the fight into the clinch.

Henderson gets control of Alexeyev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Henderson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Alexeyev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Alexeyev throws a leg kick which misses Henderson's front leg but catches the back leg as Henderson tries to avoid it.
