And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peterson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Velasquez is working away from the top position though.
Peterson wants to improve his position but Velasquez is controlling well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Velasquez connects with a nice short shot to Peterson's temple.


It looks like Dylan Peterson has been cut.
