Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexsandr Slemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Pitbull is back! . Slemenko has chosen Небо Славян as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexsandr Slemenko!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slemenko defends it nicely.

Slemenko gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Slemenko manages to retain guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slemenko's waist but Slemenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Slemenko's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.
Gracie stands up over Slemenko, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Alexsandr Slemenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Slemenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Slemenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Slemenko!

I think Slemenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
