Santos has chosen Garota de Ipanema as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Neymar Santos acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maija circles away quickly and effectively.
Maija looks to land a left hand but Santos moved out of range nicely.
Santos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Maija's head.
Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Santos throws a head kick that misses.
Santos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Taneli Maija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Maija misses its intended target.
Good leg kick by Santos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Santos lands with a straight right. Maija didn't see that one coming.
Santos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Maija is out of range.
Santos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maija moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Santos tries a head kick but it misses.
Maija tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Santos was well out of range. Poor timing from Maija.
A punch combination from Santos misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santos staying out of range there.
Maija takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Santos lands a leg kick that knocks Maija off balance momentarily.

and Santos counters with a flying knee that drops Maija! Santos dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
