The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanttonen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Muno has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hanttonen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Muno blocks the elbow strike.
Hanttonen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Muno blocks it with crossed arms.

We've been informed that Muno has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hanttonen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Hanttonen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Muno on the ground.

Hanttonen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Muno is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hanttonen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hanttonen!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muno is on top in guard.

Muno works to advance to full mount. Hanttonen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hanttonen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Muno has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hanttonen defend it? Muno steps over the head and cranks it - Hanttonen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Muno!

Evil Muno spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
