The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peaks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zalac is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Peaks unloads a knee to the mid-section. Zalac lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Zalac wants to take the fight to the mat but Peaks manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Peaks wants to pass the guard but Zalac is keeping the position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Peaks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zalac is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Peaks was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Zalac bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Peaks's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zalac catches Peaks with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Peaks forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
