The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pick fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith .
Pick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pick wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith throws a low kick but Pick avoids it.
Smith misses with a low kick as Pick jumps back.
Pick moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Arthur Smith has been cut.

Pick looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Pick is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pick to get the leverage.
Smith slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Pick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
