Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeramy Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny O Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

O Connor dives in and scores a takedown into Rich's guard.

O Connor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, O Connor has managed to get both his arms back between Rich's legs - danger averted.

O Connor stands and steps away. Rich gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

O Connor clinches up with Rich and pushes him back against the cage.

Rich has had enough of the clinch but O Connor keeps him there for the moment.

O Connor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. O Connor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Rich prevents O Connor from getting back to his feet.

Rich thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

O Connor looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rich has picked O Connor up and slammed him! O Connor can't keep hold of the triangle and Rich manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rich is trying to get an arm triangle but O Connor is defending well.
O Connor is looking to regain half guard here but Rich keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
O Connor is pushing Rich's head away, looking to escape. Rich manages to hold on to the position though.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
O Connor manages to get back to half guard.
Rich seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
O Connor tries to get to full guard but Rich has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

O Connor throws a combination. Rich tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
O Connor is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Rich hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
