Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Myler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Beto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sean Myler has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Myler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joao Beto!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myler looks to land a combination. Beto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Myler tries to score with a low kick but Beto moves his leg out of the way.
Myler lands a front kick.
Beto blocks a low kick nicely.
Beto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Myler defends well and Beto ends up having to push Myler into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Beto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Myler pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Sean Myler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Beto.
Beto drops down looking for an ankle pick but Myler pulls his leg out and moves away.
Beto avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Beto shoots in for a double leg but Myler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Myler fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Beto.

Beto turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Beto manages to end up in side control.

Beto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Myler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Beto tries to score with some ground and pound. Myler controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Beto postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Myler is looking for a sweep.

Myler parries the strikes from Beto easily there. Beto is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Myler to escape.
Beto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Myler is working to avoid the ground and pound but Beto connects with a decent elbow.

Beto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Myler has escaped the position, nice work there.

Beto lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Beto stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Beto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Myler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Myler throws a leg kick but Beto sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Myler finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Beto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Beto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joao Beto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Myler is looking to chop away at Beto's legs.

Myler thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Beto if he has to take too many more of those.
