Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Wolfe!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batyr lands with a thumping leg kick.

Batyr moves into the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Batyr.
Batyr pushes Wolfe back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wolfe is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Batyr is defending well.
Batyr tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Wolfe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Batyr regains guard immediately.

Wolfe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Batyr has escaped the position, nice work there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolfe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Batyr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Wolfe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Wolfe goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Batyr rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Wolfe's guard! Nice work there by Batyr!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Batyr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Batyr crunches a lovely knee into Wolfe's ribcage.

Batyr lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wolfe backwards.
Batyr creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wolfe's defenses.

Batyr manages to break the clinch.
Wolfe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Batyr. Batyr obviously looking to wear him down.

Batyr rushes Wolfe and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Batyr closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Wolfe out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Raiymbek Batyr!
In his post fight interview, Raiymbek Batyr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
