Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint lands with an uppercut that bounces Higgins off the cage and back into range.
Saint fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Higgins to the ground. Saint is now in Higgins's guard.
Higgins looking for a sweep. Not yet Higgins, not yet.
Higgins looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Saint puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Higgins moves into full guard.

Higgins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saint can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Higgins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Higgins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Saint has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
