Conteh throws a punch but it's blocked by Gambler.

A nice right hand lands inside from Conteh.
Conteh on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Conteh tries a body shot but Gambler blocks it.

Gambler drops down looking for an ankle pick but Conteh pulls his leg out and moves away.
John Conteh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Degen Gambler.

Degen Gambler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conteh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gambler on the side of the head.
Gambler misses with a jab to the body
and Conteh makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Conteh cracks Gambler with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Conteh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gambler to stand back up!

Conteh throws a series of punches but Gambler avoids them all with ease.

Conteh pushes Gambler back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Gambler wants to stall.

Conteh throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Conteh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gambler is rocked!
Gambler takes a shot to the head.
Gambler is still on wobbly legs! Can Conteh finish him?
Conteh dips a shoulder and cracks Gambler with a mighty uppercut! Gambler falls back against the cage and Conteh unloads with a barrage of strikes! Gambler is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Conteh screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
